The Shoulder Shrug is a resistance exercise designed to strengthen and develop the upper trapezious muscles. It can be performed in a variety of ways. Our example is shown using a barbell and the GPR378 Power Rack.
START by grabbing the barbell with a full, overhand, shoulder-width grip and stand with the bar at arms length against your ront thighs.
Shrug your shoulders straight up toward your ears, keeping your arms straight and your head still. Pause when your shoulders are as high as they can go, then slowly return to the starting position.
