The extra-thick DuraFirm"! seat and chest pads position you for maximum pre-stretch which is crucial for deep muscle penetration an full range-of-motion. Quality - with a snag.
First: why isn't there assembly instruction page included with the machine? The tiny numbers on the exploded view drawing require either a magnifying glass, or a pair of very good eyes. Second: assembly of the few parts is not a rocket science, so I've managed, magnifying glass and all, in under 90 minutes. The snag: parts #12, the Nylon bushings, are manufactured WAY too thick, and in order to even put the parts J and J-1 on the frame, all 4 bushings required serious filing with a wood file, which I fortunately have in my shop. Inside, and outside, to be precise. That cost the rating 1 star. Other than that, I am happy to find out that the machine indeed can be adjusted down to fit my 5' 1" size. Very few brands of the workout equipment do that.
