Description
The RUGGED by Body-Solid Spotter Arms are exterior safety attachments designed to protect users during heavy, unassisted lifting outside the power rack enclosure or on a half rack. Sold in pairs, these arms attach directly to the main uprights of the RUGGED by Body-Solid Y100 Power Rack and Y120 Half Rack.
Frame Construction & Capacity
Manufactured from 2" x 3" 11-gauge steel tubing, the spotter arms are rated to support a maximum weight capacity of 1,000 lbs. The high-capacity steel build is finished with an electrostatically applied black powder coat to resist surface scratching, corrosion, and wear from heavy contact.
Mounting & Usability
The pin-and-hook mounting mechanism allows for rapid height adjustments along the uprights without requiring tools or hardware changes. Designed with extended catching surfaces, the spotter arms accommodate missed reps during bench presses, squats, and overhead movements while protecting both the lifter and the barbell.
