I'm a bit disappointed on how things turned out. It looks sturdy, but the seat is off. The seat is off on an angle. It's not in perfect condition as I hoped for. The welds aren't perfect either. I guess that's what you get with a cheap quality bench. I should've spent a little more and got a better quality bench.
The Powerline PFID125X - One of the best entry-level FID benches around.
If you are looking for a portable FID bench without breaking the bank, you can’t go wrong with the PFID125X. I’ve found it to be one of the best benches around at this price point.
It comes fully assembled so you don’t have to waste any time putting it together. I was working out within 15 minutes after opening the box.
It offers a sleek profile and nice design, great padding, and 7 different adjustment positions to handle all the different exercises for my workouts. It’s a very stable bench and I never felt unsafe using it. It has a very sturdy construction and great build quality. It’s backed by an exceptional 10 year in-home warranty.
The best aspect of the bench is that it takes about 15 seconds to fold into a height of 9”, so you can easily stow it away under a bed or in a closet if you don’t have a lot of space for your home gym.
The only caveats I have about the bench are the lack of seat adjustment and the weight capacity limitation of 500lb, but these are minor issues and in all I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.
