The Leg Curl is a resistance exercise used to strengthen the hamstrings, buttocks and calves. It can be performed in a variety of ways. Our example is shown with a GLCE365 Leg Extension & Leg Curl Machine.
START by lying face down on the machine. Position your knees over the front rollers and your ankles under the rear rollers (you may need to adjust the rollers to fit you properly). Hold onto the handle bars under the bench for stability.
Pull your heels up toward your buttocks, keeping the rollers on the back of your ankles and taking your heel up yntil your legs are bent at aproximately a 45 degree angle. Pause, then return to the starting position.
