The Sit Up is an is a strength training exercise commonly performed with the aim of strengthening the hip flexors and abdominal muscles. It can be performed in a variety of ways. Our example is with the GAB60 Ab Board.
START by adjusting the Ab Board to the desired angle. The higher the angle the more difficult the exercise will be. Sit on the Ab Board with your calves wrapped around the top rollers and your feet secured under the bottom rollers. Lie back with your knees bent. Fold your arms across your chest or hold your hands behind your ears.
Use your abs to lift your head and upper torso bringing your chest toward your knees. Roll back down, slowly and with control.
