This exercise is designed to be performed with a Body-Solid Medicine Ball. Medicine Ball exercises are effective in developing balance and core strength.
Stand on the right leg, holding a medicine ball with both hands in front of the chest.
Bending the right knee slightly, hinge forward at the hips, extending the left leg straight back. Extend the arms out in front if the body. The body should form a straight line that is perpendicular with the standing leg. Make sure to keep the grounded leg bent at the knee for stability. Then, return the extended leg to the floor and repeat, switching legs.
