This exercise is designed to be performed with a Body-Solid Medicine Ball. Medicine Ball exercises are effective in developing balance and core strength.
Stand with feet hip-width apart. Holding a medicine ball a few inches in front of the chest, step forward with the right leg into a lunge.
Lune deeply, making sure the front thigh is parallel with the floor. Then with extended arms, reach the medicine ball to the right, twisting the torso at the same time.
Hold the lunge and return arms to center.
Come to a standing position and then lunge with the other leg (rotating to the left this time).
