This exercise is designed to be performed with a Body-Solid Medicine Ball. Medicine Ball exercises are effective in developing balance and core strength.
Lie on your back, placing the sole of the right foot onto the medicine ball.
Extend the left leg straight out in front of the body. Then, thrust the hips towards the ceiling with the left leg still extended, contracting the glutes.
All of the body weight should be supported by the right foot and the shoulders.
Hold the position for one count, then slowly return to the start position with body back on the mat, and repeat. Switch legs after desired reps.
