This machine is great to use, very ergonomic and natural. The rock climbing grips are an especially nice touch, and the variety of different hand positions available is wonderful. Once it is set up, it is easy, natural feeling and provides a great workout. Would give it 5 stars except..
The counterweight for the knee pad needs to be about 25-30lbs heavier. When you pull the pin out to change the weight stack, the knee support will drop on top of you if not supported, which could injure someone who wasn't expecting it...and if you leave it down same problem, except now you have to reach around it awkwardly. Our gym's fix was to tie together the top 3 weights in the stack with hose clamps, temporarily, until we can have a machine shop make us a U-shaped pin to accomplish this same task. That way, the knee support stays up when the pin is pulled. But on a nice expensive machine like this you shouldn't have to fix it when it's new.

It is possiple that you have not properly followed the assembly instructions for this machine.
In Step 5, part H of the instruction manual the weight stack column is attached to the cable giving the knee pads a 15lb. counterbalance. Our tests have shown this is an appropriate amount of counterbalance.
